PtPanelGroup Pt_PG_DND   
I have tried out the drag and drop feature of the Panel Group widget and have had mixed success. I can drag a tab 
outside the current window to create a second panel group, which is great. But if I try to drag that tab back into the 
original Panel Group, it disappears. Any attempt to drop a tab on an existing Panel Group seems to cause the dragged tab
 to vaporize.

Does anyone use this feature?

I'm testing in 6.4.0.

It is hard to tell. 
Are you trying to do something like what PhAB does with its information panel?
Do you have any tabs in the target panel group when you drop a panel into it?

Can you post a sample application that shows this problem?

I just put together a sample application (just a panel group with three
tabs) and it is well-behaved. It's the real application where things get
funny. Yes, I'm trying to do something like what PhAB does with its
information panel. I just tried this exercise with PhAB (drag a tab out
of the panel, then try to drag it back into the panel) and it died, so
I'm guessing there is something going wrong at a deeper level.

I reproduced the crash in PhAB for Windows, so I will create a PR and
take a look at it.

I created PR66331 to track this issue. 

I can see that Photon is dying, which sounds similar to PR64527 which I
already fixed. I tried the latest Photon.exe executable and things work
better, but there is still a Photon.exe crash when I drag a second time.
Let me know if you need an experimental fix.
