QNX Momentics Error on first execution   
Dear all,

I am new to QNX Momentics. I have installed it on my laptop under Ubuntu 10.10 64 bits and I run into Error messages 
every time I run the program.

The errors say the following:

<< 
Problem Occurred
'Initial sate verification' has encountered a problem.
An internal error has occurred.

QNX Compiler Configuration Error
There is an error in the QNX compiler settings. Either the QNX compiler is not defined or compiler definition directory 
is not accessible. You should exit the IDE and fix the error immediately.
Exit the IDE and fix the error?

QNX Configuration Error
There is an error in the QNX Configuration settings. Either the QNX_CONFIGURATION environment variable is not defined 
correctly or the location it points to is not accessible.
Exit the IDE and fix the error? >>

The command line says:

$ sh run_qde_admin.sh
/usr/lib/gio/modules/libgvfsdbus.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64
Failed to load module: /usr/lib/gio/modules/libgvfsdbus.so >>

Is it a 64bit issue? Is it not?
What would you suggest?

After reactivating, checking ".momentics", and booting a few times, it came alive without the errors.

I don't have a clue on what happened or how to avoid it in future installations! 

Any ideas?

In the installation notes, it mentions that you need to logout and log back in to make sure the environment variables 
are updated properly. I was seeing the same errors, and logging out fixed everything.

I'm seeing this error consistently reproducible across multiple logout/login/reboot sessions on Ubuntu 11.04 Natty 
Narwhal 64bit. 

I think it is due to a problem with the ia32-libs (ELFCLASS64 segfault errors in the console when I try launching QNX 
SDP). 

I've tried downgrading my ia32-libs and various workarounds for the ELFCLASS64 errors that I found through google but 
nothing has helped so far. Sure would be nice if QNX worked on recent 64bit versions of ubuntu.

Hi,

  Got around to fixing this by running the qconfig utulity as follows(tried all invocations):

-qconfig
-qconfig -e

and then logged out and back into my Ubuntu OS.
