Trouble booting with keyboard disconnected
Hello all, I am having a very bizzare booting issue, and not entirely sure what direction to take for debugging it.

The platform is a compact PCI SBC made by EFK. The hard disk is a SATA drive connected to a mezzanine card. The SATA
interface appears to be on the PCI bus. This SBC doesn't have any PS2 connectors on the front panel, only USB.

When there is a USB keyboard connected to the system, it boots correctly. However, if I disconnect the keyboard and
power cycle, it no longer boots. I get the QNX6 boot loader, I can select the boot image still, but diskboot fails to
find the hard drive, and I get a ".diskroot could not be located on any filesystem" error message.

It seems to me like there is probably some resource competition or something strange going on, but I'm not sure which
direction to look.

Thanks!

Re: Trouble booting with keyboard disconnected
Forgot to mention, I am using 6.5.0 and the qnxbasesmp.ifs boot image that was included.
Re: Trouble booting with keyboard disconnected
Update, I switched to the qnxbase-smp.apic boot image and I can now boot without a keyboard connected. However, my usb
is now dead.

If I telnet into the machine and run usb, it will sit there for about 10 seconds, then reads out the USB controllers in
the system. However, none of the devices are there.

Scanning through sloginfo, there are several "ps2 - Device Timeout (0x56)" messages.
