Reg: ping not found   
I am using QNX4.24, I had try ping command to check the connection but is displays command not found message.

Also when I mount the QNX4.24 hard disk as slave from other linux hard disk it mount as Read-Only. I am not able to copy
 new data to QNNX hard disk.

The ping command comes with the TCP/IP package - it isn't standard with
QNX4.

This is a QNX product and is purchased separately from the operating
system. You will have to contact your sales rep.

It is. IIRC, Linux has limited QNX4 file system support. Read-only is
recommended according to this:

system under Windows.  It`s been 2 days, no comments yet.

file system is read only.

Think about this for a moment now. If a QNX filesystem would be read only how could you create it in the first place?

When accessing from Linux it`s read only only because Linux doesn`t support writing to the filesystem. That has nothing 
to do with the filesystem itself, it`s a Linux limitation.

I`ve heard they don`t do QNX4 anymore and that it was EXTREMELY expensive.

on your qnx4 pc use mkisofs to create an iso image of the files you want to burn to cd.

transfer this image to a windows pc and burn the cd. Simple!
