Urgent !! Support for the Mobile 945GME Graphics Controller is nedded.

Hi,

Until now we were using boards with Mobile 945GM/GMS, 943/940GML (DeviceID: 0x27a2) Graphics Controller. Unfortunately 
this device was phased out and we have to use 945GME (DeviceID: 0x27ae).

Looks like Pg.i830 doesn't handle it.

Can you add support for this graphics controller  ?

We've recently added support for this device under QNX6 but that hasn't made it into QNX4 yet.   There are plans to get 
this updated but I don't know the schedule as to when this will be done and made available.

You may want to consult your sales rep for options.

Hello Michael,

our hardware Vendor and partner is not able to supply boards with 945GM chip anymore.

Right now we have several very urgent systems under development process. It is dedicated configuration and it is not 
possible to change or modify such solution.

Long time ago I heard that a new graphics patch is on the way...
Also I heard about correction in the Pg.lx800 and support for
some new graphics controllers...

Unfortunately our sales rep can't say anything about that.
It is very difficult to talk with them.

Can you add a high priority for the updated Pg.i830 driver ?

Maybe there is a chance to get an experimental release of Pg.i830 for testing ?

I can confirm that this chipset will be supported in the
next update.   As mentioned I do not know the specific schedule
for this work as the resources are not under my control.   So currently
there is not any experimental driver available.
