Yes but I won't be able to use more then ~3.2Gig.

And what is about the QNX4 installation CD ?
Does the installer really fail on systems with more than 1GB of RAM ?

Taken from QNX4 Installation CD Release Notes:

-> The CD installer won't run if your system has more than 1 GB of RAM. (Ref# 55856)

Yes, you have to run the installer with 1GB or less of RAM and then
upgrade after the installation.
