Fsys.atapi from QNX4 Product Suite June 2008

Hello,

just after fresh QNX4 installation from Suite CD dated on June 2008:
#ls -l ...
  109297  Aug  08  2007  Fsys.atapi
#sin ver
  Fsys.atapi atapi   4.25G  Aug  08 2007

but driver by from QNX 4 OS Fsys_atapi Update [Patch ID 711] has:
#ls -l  ...
  180052  Aug  08  2007 Fsys.atapi
#sin ver
  Fsys.atapi atapi   4.25G  Aug  08 2007

Is it the same driver ?
Where the difference in file size come from ?

Hi,

you can also see both Fsys.atapi versions during installation.

Just start Shell Window and check /bin and /ram/bin directories:

#ls -l /bin/Fsys.a*
  109297  Nov  29  2007 /binFsys.atapi

# ls -l /ram/bin/Fsys.a*
  179951  Nov  29  2007 /ram/bin/Fsys.atapi

Installer copies first one (109297) onto hard disk.

Is it the same driver ?
Where this difference come from ?

It might be that one driver has been stripped and the other one hasn't.

So, driver from QNX 425 OS Fsys_atapi Update [Patch ID 711] is also not stripped.

It has ~180kb:

#ls -l  Fsys.a*
  ...
  180052  Aug  08  2007 Fsys.atapi
