ifconfig "issue"
Good afternoon,
I have an interesting issue with the ifconfig command. Currently, i'm running QNX 4 and I set up the networking which
seems to be running fine. Interestingly enough, when the CPU boots up, it tells me that 'ifconfig: not found.'
However, I can still use the command ifconfig to set up the network. QNX does not seem to recognize it on the boot up.
I checked the sysinit file and everything 'seems' normal. Should I attempt to post up the sysinit? anyone have any
ideas what this problem is?

Thanks again.
Re: ifconfig "issue"
Hi Julian,

The ifconfig utility is placed in /usr/ucb directory, so while sysinit is
running you have to launch /usr/ucb/ifconfig instead of ifconfig. This is
true for all TCP/IP commands.
