Hi,

When I run the command #uname -a I can see that its giving the version number as "4.25 L". I wanted to be sure whether 
it is the patch number or the OS version number.

As per some documents, if the OS version is 4.25Q then #uname -a displays "4.25 L".

So, I am confused whether the command is returning me the OS version or the patch version.

AFAIK the uname utility should output the Proc version in it's output.
Here's what I get: QNX 90 Q 425 PCI 32 - where Q is the Proc version.
