Configure a TeamForge instance for Lab Management

You do not need to perform any special preparations on a TeamForge instance for Lab Management. The only requirement when setting up a TeamForge instance is to have a TeamForge superuser account available for Lab Management administration purposes.

Note: It is strongly recommended that you set up a dedicated TeamForge user for this purpose, but you can use an existing TeamForge user as well.

You use this superuser account almost entirely for read-only query operations on users and projects. The only write operation that this account performs is the automatic addition of Lab Management roles to TeamForge projects when they are first set up in Lab Management.
