Cannot install QNX 6.5.0 on VMWare Server   
I have VMWare Server 2.0.2 running on a Dell Optiflex 755 running Windows XP SP3 Professional. When I try to install 6.5
.0 (qnxsdp-6.5.0-x86-201007091524-nto.iso) from the CD-ROM on the VMWare Server, the QNX installer fails to detect the 
IDE controller.

Are there any special settings that I need to tweak in order to enable QNX installer to detect the IDE controller on the
 VMWare Server?

Not sure but I don`t think VMWware Server has by default support for IDE, only SCSI.

Hmm. The new Virtual Disk that I created on my VMWare Server to install QNX on is of type SCSI (0:0) and the capacity is
 50 GB.

OK problem solved! I change my Hard Drive type to "IDE" from "SCSI" and now 6.5.0 is installing on it.
