Its been a while since I installed QNX 4 in Vmware (and it jsut worked last
time I did it). Off the top of my head the easiest thing to try is using a
smaller virtual disk. I don't recall what the limits were but it is easy
enough to try and see if that makes a difference.
Usually when you get just the dots it means the disk geometry is different
between what the bios (virtual bios in this case) thinks and what QNX
thinks.
