Need a reg edit type of App to be repluicated on qnx

Hi all

I have a registry type structure in an XML file. Is there any tool/method by which i can validate the contents of the 
file without directly operating on the file and also  display the same in a tree format?What i need is  to replicate the
  reg edit file in windows on QNX.
