Forum Topic - Deploy binaries to Neutrino target from Windows with qconn: (8 Items)

Deploy binaries to Neutrino target from Windows with qconn
I check out projects, and build them with qcc outside of the Momentics IDE. I would also like to copy the binaries from
my projects and deploy them to my Neutrino machine. Since it is already using qconn, is there a way use qconn to send
my binaries over to the machine without using Momentics? If there isn't, is ftp the next best choice?

Thanks

Officially ftp (scp is install ssh server) is the only way. Unofficially
you can use qconn protocol to upload files (this protocol is not a
public interface).

Re: Deploy binaries to Neutrino target from Windows with qconn
Does any one know if a qconn interface has been written for windows, so the target can be seen and files transfered
without using eclipse or momentics.

Thanks
RE: Deploy binaries to Neutrino target from Windows with qconn
Elena posted some perl scripts on the forum. One is qcp to copy file and the other is qlaunch to launch a process on
the target. That means under Windows you need to install Perl.

I just read that thread. It seems she emailed them to you. Can you post them if you still have them.

Cheers

Oh sorry Richard I don`t remember why she didn`t post them on the forum, but I`ll respect the fact that she may have
send them to me directly for some reason, no I didn`t bribe her ;-)

Hopefully she`ll read your post ;-)

Re: RE: RE: Deploy binaries to Neutrino target from Windows with qconn
any chance of emailing me the scripts?
Re: Deploy binaries to Neutrino target from Windows with qconn
I cannot post them here for security reasons. Send me an-email directly
(my e-mail should be listed somewhere in the project team members) and I
will send you scripts.
