The mkifs is creating a checksum on the header and on the rest of the image of the IFS file.

For safty reasons I need to have a better assurance than a simple checksum. I would like to know if there is an option 
to create a CRC in the IFS headerfile, instead of the checksum.

I am implementing the IPL also that should work with it. So if there is an option for CRC can you please share this code
 with me?
