IDE isn't cancelling build properly
I started a thread in the IDE forum http://community.qnx.com/sf/discussion/do/listPosts/projects.ide/discussion.ide.
topc20758 and Elana suggested I take it to this forum.

She suggested I looked for a more recent version of msys but I coun't find any?

I'd have to look into it, Ryan was rebasing it and giving out to those
who had problems. He'll reply next week.

I don't think this sounds like the "deadlock" issue as what was fixed in
the 6.5.0. If it happens with the 6.5.0 msys-1.0.dll then there isn't a
fix available in msys anywhere on the forums.

There is a known problem where you see "VirtualAlloc pointer is null"
error when trying to run msys binaries which is usually a problem with
BLODA or a rebasing problem -- and I've been posting rebased msys dlls
to work around that issue but that issue is completely unrelated.
According to your original to have a problem even killing non-msys
binaries like make.

To me it sounds more like:

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=330634

However without a reproducible test case it's going to be hard for us to
investigate. I suggest you contact QNX support and work with one of the
support developers to reproduce the issue so one of us can look at it
further.

Re: IDE isn't cancelling build properly
It is not this CDT bug because we don't ship 64bit IDE, they all 32 bit

like make.
