RTL8111CP problem
Hello,

I am just testing an IEI ECW-281 (Atom N270 + i945GSE) with 2 x Realtek RTL8111CP network controllers. The first tests I
made with Net.rtl8169 (version of March 12th 2010). With this driver I can use both controllers.

After these tests I have updated the driver (version of September 02th 2010). When I start the driver for the first
controller everything works fine. But when I start the driver for the second controller I have no access to the network
(neither with the first nor with the second controller) and timer functions (for example "sleep 2") don't work no longer
.

Is it planned to update Net.rtl8169 before QNX4 Product Suite 2010 is released ?

Best regards
Hans-Peter

Hi Hans-Peter,

We'll test and update the Net.rtl8169 in a short time.

Re: RTL8111CP problem
Oleg,

Will the update address the issue concerning 1GB will link but not transmit? My QNX sales rep has been telling me they
are working on the fix, I am hopeful this is covered as well. (Topic#14402)

Thanks,

Randy

Re: RTL8111CP problem
I ran a series of stress tests, 10,000 1KB files 10,000 times, 140MB files 1,000 imes, and a 1.3GB file 100 times, All
while running a ping flood from two other machines. All appears to be working fine. Nice work Oleg!

Thanks,

Randy
