gcc vs. qcc
It seems to be possible to use gcc or qcc to build the pkgsrc packages. Each one has its own advantages.

Has there now be made a decision which way the project should prefer?

E.g. which one will be used to regularly build the packages?

Perhaps in the short run we use gcc and switch than later to qcc?

What do you think?

We're leaning towards using gcc. Before doing the switch
though I'm waiting for an update to our gcc 4.2 port (tools
project) as pkgsrc has identified some omissions / issues
with the current archive.
