Is there are any runtime dependency of io-pkt on nto 6.4 o/s? (i.e. its acceptable to run io-pkt and components on 6.3. 2...) The way the new stack is presented, it seems there is NO dependency on 6.4 - but I failed to find it explicitly stated in the wiki or the forums. Thanks.
Hi Dennis: That is correct. There is no dependency. Io-pkt in its initial release will be validated with 6.3.0/SP3 and 6.3.2/SP3. It will be fully integrated with 6.4 when 6.4 is released. You still need to build with 6.3.2 in order to pick up some headers that have changed for one of the drivers, but the binaries are all compatible.
