gdb doesn't seem to think there's any dll's loaded
in that core.  Is it reproducible?  Can you upload
another core?

Some additional information:

The EHCI usb port is used. EHCI is supported in the bsp-ntotrunk-ti-omap3530-evm-beagle-1.0.0-200909140928.zip bsp. The 
AXIS USB dongle works if connected to the EHCI port directly. The dump occurs if the ASIX is conntected to a USB-hub and
 the hub to the EHCI port.

This sounds like PR 67298 "devn-asix does not support a usb dongle/hub".
