6.4.0 on a machine with custom image when doing a shutdown from a telnet session I can see on the machine that io-pkt-v4 crashes. Crash at main+734 ip 80856b5. If you need more info just ask. I'm not sure I can get a core dump though because the machine seems to freeze.
Hi Mario: What driver is being used? I take it that this is a "stock" 6.4.0 install? Robert. -----Original Message----- From: Mario Charest [mailto:community-noreply@qnx.com] Sent: Tuesday, February 03, 2009 3:07 PM To: general-networking Subject: sigsegv 6.4.0 on a machine with custom image when doing a shutdown from a telnet session I can see on the machine that io-pkt-v4 crashes. Hello Robert, No it's a custom image created with 6.4.0 binaires (use -i on all involved files indicate version 6.4.0 stable). The driver is devnp-i82544.so. Note that devn-pcnet.so (and shim) is also loaded but there is hardware for it. > -----Original Message----- > From: Robert Craig [mailto:community-noreply@qnx.com] > Sent: February-03-09 3:23 PM > To: general-networking > Subject: RE: sigsegv > > Hi Mario: > > What driver is being used? Hmmm... No core dump in /var/dumps on reboot? -----Original Message----- From: Mario Charest [mailto:community-noreply@qnx.com] Sent: Tuesday, February 03, 2009 4:01 PM To: general-networking Subject: RE: sigsegv Hello Robert, No it's a custom image created with 6.4.0 binaires (use -i on all involved files indicate version 6.4.0 stable). No because the machine freezes. I'll see if I can somehow manage to get one. (maybe just send a SIGPWR to io-pkt). > -----Original Message----- > From: Robert Craig [mailto:community-noreply@qnx.com] > Sent: February-03-09 4:29 PM > To: general-networking > Subject: RE: sigsegv > > > Hmmm... I'm back on this issue. No core dump, it seems the machine freeze before it has a chance to save the dump. Seems the crash only occurs on heavy load and when using 1G. Suggestion? > -----Original Message----- > From: Robert Craig [mailto:community-noreply@qnx.com] > Sent: February-03-09 4:29 PM > To: general-networking > Subject: RE: sigsegv > > > Hmmm...
