Installing ssh on target without graphic interface
Hi all,
I have a very simplified version of QNX6.3.2 on the target. Due to the need of remote control and file access, i would
like to install the ssh on it. But it has no graphical interface. It has internet access. How could i do this?

I have tried one way like this: i successfully installed ssh on on fully installed qnx6.3.2 via internet. I just copied
the relevant files to the target. But could not work.

Another way out is since i installed ssh on my full-versioned qnx via internet update, is it possible that i copy the
source package to the target? And then install there on the target? But i have no ideas where i located the downloaded
packages for ssh.

Thank you
Eric

RE: Installing ssh on target without graphic interface
Have you compared the mode of the files on your host (on which you
successfully installed the ssh) and on the target after you copied them
over?

When you say it doesn't work, what is the problem?

I don't think you need a graphic interface to configure your server on
the target.

Thanks
Weijie

I'm guessing you're trying to install an old 3rd party package
and the graphical issue is due to qnxinstall needing photon?
I'm pretty sure there was a cli installer at some point but I can't
seem to find it. I'm not familiar with the old 3rd party packages.
It might be easier to look into building ssh from the networking
repo.
