ifconfig reporting question

I have a ppp configured connection and ifconfig reports the following:

ppp0: flags=8051<UP,POINTOPOINT,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 1600
        inet 166.217.73.119 -> 10.0.0.1 netmask 0xffff0000

Can someone help me understand the 166.217.73.119 -> 10.0.0.1 please.
