I have a similar problem. Bought a Belkin F5D7050, plugged into a powered hub and ran the following commands:
io-pkt-v4-hc -d /fs/hd1/lib/devnp-rum.so
wpa_supplicant -B -i rum0 -c /fs/hd1/etc/wpa_supplicant.conf
my conf file:
network={
ssid="mgtsciences"
key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
psk="abcdefghij"
}
ifconfig shows:
rum0: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
ssid "" nwkey 65536:"","","",""
powersave off
address: 94:44:52:03:ad:89
media: IEEE802.11 autoselect (DS1 mode 11g)
status: no network

Any ideas?
