Intel e1000 Gbit driver for QNX6.3.x
Dear All,
I've to update a 6.3 x86 application with a Intel Gbit chip...
I'm search for a devn-e1000.so driver or similar if available,
I will appreciate any support, best regards
mario

What is the device PCI-ID that you want to support? We have an old e1000 driver for 6.3.0, but it doesn't support the
latest Intel device IDs.

Thanks for support:
it's an Intel I210/I211 chip, with DID=x1699

Are you sure that this is the correct device ID? I have just downloaded the latest Linux driver source from Intel and
there is no device ID 0x1699. All i210 adapters are in the 0x15xx range.

Re: Intel e1000 Gbit driver for QNX6.3.x
I'm sorry, it is 0x1539, the 0x1699 is for a second ethernet: a Broadcom BCM54610 chip,
in 6.5 i've used the tigon3 driver: if it is available also for 6.3, it should be an alternative to
intel chip,
thanks, mario

Please try the attached driver and let me know if it works. If not, I'll have to find a 6.3.0 machine and compile the
latest driver for you.

Thanks, Hugh.

Re: Intel e1000 Gbit driver for QNX6.3.x
Thank you very much, I will test as soon as possible!
Re: Intel e1000 Gbit driver for QNX6.3.x
Thanks, Hugh! It works for me.

just another help: the second NIC card is a 1Gb broadcom BCM5785 chip, DID=0x1699,
I've tested the tigon3 driver under 6.5 version and works fine, whilst the 6.3.2 tigon3
driver do not recognize the chip and when started stop to works after few ping,

Have You a tigon3 update driver for 6.3 ?
Any help is appreciated,
Thanks again
Mario

No, we don't have a tigon3 driver update for 6.3.

Hugh.
