So far so good, the did is 0x10fb, it got detected and the connection got established, after I did a ifconfig 0x0 up.
nicinfo report a link speed of 10000.00 Mb/s (don't you just love that number), but ifconfig says "1000baseT full-duplex
".

I have enable mtu of 9000, and all capabilities!

That's all I have to report so far.

Do you know if the driver will be release officially at some point or will it only comes with the next QNX release?

Re: 10G intel
When I wrote the driver, there was no definition for 10G, but there is one
now, so I will have to update the driver and let you know.

Re: 10G intel
Here's a driver for you to try. Please let me know if ifconfig displays
the correct speed.

Thanks, Hugh.

Still 1000baseT full-duplex

Do make sure the right driver was used I checked use -i and got:

DATE=2013/06/12-14:47:01-EDT
Checksum is 958964157

Ok. I`m not back to doing more test. The situation I have right now is that under heavy traffic TX interrupt are
stoppings, I think. Nicinfo shows packets reception is still going on, but nothing changes on the TX side. I can see
via a tracelogger session that there are still interrupts happening for the device. There is 1 Memory Allocation
Failure on Transmit.

I can recreated this at will. The heavy traffic is caused by starting our software package.

If I kill io-pkt-v4 all together and restart it, something isn't right. Pings are taking between 300-3200ms. I've done
the sequence multiple time ( test-restart-fail-reboot-test-restart-fail...) and it constant.

Re: 10G intel
I have tried the driver with my X540 device and cannot reproduce the
problem. What device are you using?

Re: 10G intel
I also have an 82599 (DID=0x151c) and it works fine. Is yours an on-board
device or is it on a plug-in board? Is it copper, fiber or CX4?

Thanks, Hugh.

Plug-in PCIe, CX4. This is a board we got 1 year ago. We will order new ones (coper RJ-45) and I'll try again with
these.

Once we get the new one, that sure can be arranged. I`ll contact you when we get them (that could take a while since the
ing. department hasn`t yet finalise the exact model).

The driver should be released with the next QNX release.

Re: 10G intel
Hello.

I'm working with Intel E10G41BFRS aka X520-SR1. Devnp-ixgbe.so gets it good, ifconfig shows it to me as "ix0", but there
is no physical signal, no connection from it. What should I check and where should I look to fix it?

Motherboard Intel S2400SC, two processors Xeon E5-2407, QNX 6.5.0.

With other OS this network card works good.

Re: 10G intel
Have you run the ifconfig or dhcp.client utilities to enable the

etc.)?

ifconfig ix0 ip.address
or
dhcp.client -iix0
