intel 82566DM driver
Are there any plans to support this chip?

Its PCI id is 8086:104a

Thanks, PKY
RE: intel 82566DM driver
According to the source, it already is, by both
io-net and io-pkt (it's in the list of known_device_ids).

Not sure how much testing has been performed on it.

The io-pkt source is publicly available, so you can
check this for yourself.

Has the io-net driver source been made available yet?
It really should be, at least for non-NDA drivers.

Re: RE: intel 82566DM driver
I have tried i82544 driver from patch-630SP3-0685.

It seems that it's supported, but driver only receives packets, so it doesn't work...

I am attaching output from nicinfo, netstat -in and pci.

Is there any newer version available?

Thanks, PKY

I think Hugh (Brown) has a newer (experimental)
driver for io-net i82544 ...

RE: RE: intel 82566DM driver
You can try the attached experimental driver and see if it works.

I have tried experimental driver, but the result is the same ... no packets seem to be transmitted (according to
nicinfo)

I am attaching some information from running system.

Thanks, PKY

This is rather difficult as I don't have the hardware. What motherboard is
the chip on?

It's on the Advantech industrial motherboard, PCA-6194

Thanks.

Would it help you, if I made given computer visible from internet via supported network card?

Thanks.
