Intel i350
Is the Intel i350 Network Control supported ? On the road map ? Should I get in touch with our representative ;-)
Re: Intel i350
No, this device isn't currently supported. I'm not sure when it will be.

Re: Intel i350
Mario,

Do you have one of these devices? If so, what is the device ID?

Thanks, Hugh.

No I don`t. It`s part of all the new series of motherboards that supermicro has recently released (X9 series). I was
looking at getting an eval kit, but decided not to when you told me there was no driver for it, but if it could be of
any help I could arrange to get one ?

I have just looked at the latest e1000 driver and it does support the
I350! My bad!

Re: RE: Intel i350
At the time this post was written, the latest driver I have on hand ( date is 2012/05/03, experimental ) works on that
chipset but the one with SP1 doesn't. It detects the NIC but it always reports a speed of 0 half duplex. But the SP1
driver is data 2012/06/20. Is it because something go broken or the experimental driver has some changes that didn't
make it into SP1?

Re: Intel i350
Does the attached driver work for you? If not, can you please start the
driver with "verbose=3" and post the sloginfo output.

Didn't work. Sloginfo ouput attached. Nicinfo shows incoming packets. It's important to note our cisco switch takes
around 30 seconds to auto-negoticate and do some fancy test detection before showing the port as active. Though I'd
mention it in case it could be related.

Re: Intel i350
OK, so there must be a difference between the trunk and 6.5.0 branches.
I'll investigate.

Thanks, Hugh.

RE: Intel i350
This one doesn't work but nicinfo does show proper link speed with some TX and RX packets, but can't see the network
with ping or qnet.

Thanks!
