Forum Topic - Bypassing the IP/protocol stack: (3 Items)

Bypassing the IP/protocol stack
I am curious if it is possible from the C/C++ programing environment to send and receive packets directly from the sub-
layer(s), bypassing the IP or other protocol stacks. In fact, I'd rather not have the IP protocol stack loaded at all
and just be able to send and receive from the driver directly.

I'm seeing conversations about lsm-nraw.... Should I head that direction?
Re: Bypassing the IP/protocol stack
That's one option, BPF is the other.
