I am doing a throughput test for the Ethernet on iMx51 evaluation board (OS
- QNX neutrino 6.5.0).

I have tested using two utilities iperf and ttcp.

The transmit(upload) and receive(download) speed got using both the
utilities are given below.

 

1)      Using iperf

Transmit - 76.22

Receive   - 26.73

 

2)      Using ttcp

Transmit - 73.73

Receive   - 42.57

 

Also I tested the iMx51 board with the Linux OS using iperf.

Transmit - 94.43

Receive   - 94.16

 

Can anyone tell me why is receive (download) speed too less compared to
transmit(upload).

What would be the problem?

 

Has anyone tested throughput on iMx51?
