io-audio driver for Dell Latitude D820?   
Has anyone gotten audio working on the Dell D820 under neutrio (6.3.2, installed from latest iso)?

It looks like the audio device is the "Intel HD Audio" integrated into the ICH7  io-hub. 

vid=8086 and did=27d8

I thought maybe there would be some kind of backward compatibility with the i8x0 driver, but didn't have any luck so far
 with that approach.

Hi Rich:

   This is "drivers-networking" so I'm thinking you might not have much luck
with "drivers-audio" (:->).  I'd recommend posting to one of the BSP /
Drivers forums instead.

hmm-- to give myself a *little* more credit here, if you look at the project-level forum page (see attached jpg), 
there's not much other than the URL (ok, and the networking-related posts ;^) to tell me I'm in a networking-only area.

FYI, I happend to get into this project area via a search, rather than going in from the top and drilling down.

Maybe we should have some kind of heading that would make this more obvious? In any case, I'll be more careful next time
 ;^)
