How to get network /wifi to work on a Asus EEE1000H
I've installed QNX 6.4.1 on a Asus EEE1000H, but sound, wired network card and the wireless card (BroadCom BCM 94321MC)
does not work "out of the box".

Is there anybody that have sucessfully installed QNX on a netbook and can give me som hint about how / where to get the
"drivers"

It would be "cool" to have QNX fully working on my netbook
RE: How to get network /wifi to work on a Asus EEE1000H
Can you post the text output of the command

  # pci -v

Thanks,

RE: RE: How to get network /wifi to work on a Asus EEE1000H
I saw only one network device:

I am unfamiliar with this chipset - I don't think
we have a driver for it :-(

A USB dongle might be the easiest way for you to
get networking.

RE: RE: How to get network /wifi to work on a Asus EEE1000H
Hacker option: I see there is a FreeBSD driver for this.

If you are adventurous, you could port that to a NetBSD
driver, which is generally a pretty straight-forward
re-compile for QNX 6.4 io-pkt.

However, I will warn you that the differences between
the BSD source variants can be maddening! It puzzles
me greatly that the BSD people wish to fracture their
community.

Re: RE: RE: How to get network /wifi to work on a Asus EEE1000H
Hello, thank you for the answer, unfortunately i had disabled the wifi, so it was not in the report. So i have taken
the report ones more. Can you tell me if there is a driver for the wifi card?

Can you point me to a tutorial, howto make the driver for the network card with help of the BSD?

I have tried QNX some year ago, but i need to learn how to use the operating system, can you recommend some learnig
book or place on the net. I've been looking for some litrature but have'nt find anything yet.

I think the correct driver for that family of wifi
chips would be devnp-bcm43xx.so - however looking at
the list of supported DID's for that driver - it's
quite long - I'm not sure if this nic is supported
by default or not by the shipped driver.

In this situation you can pass the DID with a command
line option to the driver - ie "did=0x4328" to see if
you get lucky and they haven't changed the hardware API.

We need to upgrade our BCM43xx wifi source for newer hardware!!

I'm thinking of buying one of these netbooks myself. So if anybody can
recommend one that's got QNX drivers would be great??!?
