Hello, Have there been any community efforts to develop a universal QNX driver for GigE vision cameras? I'm aware of the Prosilica driver, but as far as I can tell, it only supports Prosilica cameras. (On Linux, it acknowledged the existence of my camera, but wasn't able to communicate with it properly.) Thanks.
We wrote our own, it has been working with 2 brands of camera so far. You need the manufactures help, otherwise it`s close to impossible to write one. Each model is different in the way they get programmed. > -----Original Message----- > From: Ryan Fox [mailto:community-noreply@qnx.com] > Sent: October 6, 2009 2:01 PM > To: drivers-networking > Subject: GigE Vision Drivers > > Hello, > Have there been any community efforts to develop a universal QNX driver > for GigE vision cameras? > > I'm aware of the Prosilica driver, but as far as I can tell, it only > supports Prosilica cameras. Thanks for the tip, Mario. Is there much that is going to be manufacturer-specific? Right now, I'm trying to compile a list of things that I will need to ask about in order to write my own.
