Question about whether Aviage can handle digital audio stream directly
Hi,

Does anybody know whether Aviage can directly handle a digital audio stream (e.g., in PCM format) and play the stream
somehow, if the stream is not from any kind of mediastores but comes from the I2S bus, thanks.

Regards,
Chris

Aviage can output a PCM stream (it does so for CDDA and iPod digital audio). I don't know about the input side of things
w/r to I2S. In a worst case scenario you could write your own MMF module(s) to handle the input side of things and when
you plug those into io-media it should be able to play it.

Typically we would have an io-audio driver written for an i2s PCM input. MME 1.2 and io-media are capable of playing a
line-in input. You need to create the line in input mediastore which is in the documentation.
