Is iPod sound check setting configurable by Aviage?

Hi,

Does anyone know whether it is possible to configure the iPod sound check feature by Aviage APIs or devctl()? 

I am currently using Aviage MMS 1.2, thanks.

Hi Chris,

On the command line when you launch the iPod you can add sndchk=on|off|ipod. "ipod" means use the iPod default. This 
should be in the "MME utilities" document for iofs-ipod.so.

Sorry for not described clearly, actually I am seeking a way to configure the iPod sound check at run time. e.g., in a 
case of someone need to re-configure it after iofs-ipod.so is launched, thanks.

Sorry Chris,

The MM 1.2 Aviage release has no API to change it at runtime.

If no APIs, then may I ask whether it is possible to configure it by a way like use devctl() to access /fs/ipod0/.

There is no way to do this at runtime with the existing code. It would only be possible if we changed the iPod driver. 
It doesn't sound like a big change, if you really need it you can try raising the issue through your support contact at 
QNX.
