Forum Topic - .svn folders in $QNX_HOST\etc\qcc makes all Build Variants disappear: (2 Items)

.svn folders in $QNX_HOST\etc\qcc makes all Build Variants disappear
Using Momentics 4.5.1 in a windows hosted 6.4.0 environment:

We SVN-archived our entire QNX 6.4.0 installation. If we then check out the SVN controlled QNX install (and set up
environment variables appropriately), it mostly works.

However, when creating a new QNX C Project, the Build Variants tab is empty. I've attached a portion of Eclipse's error
 log showing the CompInfoException.

If I delete the .svn directories in $QNX_HOST\etc\qcc, $QNX_HOST\etc\gcc, and $QNX_HOST\etc\gcc\4.2.4, the build
variants show up again.

It would be nice if the Build Variants tab still worked even when .svn directories exist in those folders. (If it's any
help, those .svn folders have Window's "hidden" attribute set.)

I think this bug was reported before. IDE stumble on "extra" directories in configuration area. It is fixed in IDE 4.6
(you can try it out from foundry).
Otherwise workaround is to remove anything that was not put there by installer.
