Info required about building OS and Flash Images
Hi,
I am using QNX Momentics IDE in windows xp and Neutrino in VMWARE.
I need to build and load a QNX OS image on compact flash, since i have not done these kind of things i would like to
clarify some points before starting.

1) While creating new QNX System Builder Project there is an option for selecting build file "Import Existing Buildfile"
, in which i need to know where can i find the buildfile?

2) Where can i provide the base address of the target while building? Is it in IPL?

3) If i want to move this image to Neutrino in VMWARE, can i use the USB flash card reader?

Thakns in advance for helping.

Regards
Sreesha

You should know that :-)

I don't know about USB flash (i guess you cannot). IDE provides loading
image to the target using serial terminal and using network via TFTP
protocol. It depends on your board: 0x1f0000nitor, which protocol does
it supports.

What i want to know is, importing the existing build file means whether i have to import the binaries of the project
which i have built or some other thing?I want to make that point clear.
