Default Eclipse Installation Location
Hi,

A Customer is installing 6.5.0 Momentics in to Windows XP.

He has discovered that we install a large number of Eclipse files under his Windows User directory (e.g. C:\Users\Garry\
momentics). The problem he is encountering is that we are taking up more disk space under his User directory than his
company IT Dept will allow.

Is it possible for the install location of these files to be changed?

Regards,

Garry
Re: Default Eclipse Installation Location
This is the default directory to hold the Eclipse configuration files. It
shouldn't be using a lot of disk space unless he installed and uninstalled
many times of Momentics or 3rd party plugins.

He can change his %QNX_HOST%\usr\x86\qde\eclipse\configuration\config.ini
file, change the line begins with "osgi.configuration.area=" to a
different directory, and restart his IDE.

Hi Andy,

Thanks very much for the quick response. Your suggestion solved the customers problem.
