QNX IDE showing not a QNX source package
Hi,

I downloaded iMx35 BSP from the QNX website and i was able to import it
successfully and compile it.

I unzipped the QNX BSP for debugging purpose,
then again i tried to compress(zip) and import it to the tool but the tool
is not reading it properly.
The tool is throwing an error - Not a qnx source package.
But i havn't changed anything in the source code.

I have attached the screen shot.
Kindly help me debug this problem, bcoz i have other QNX source code which
i have to import it to the tool.

Does you zip file contain a file called "source.xml" at the root level?

When you zip it do you select to use legacy zip format? If you use WinZip do not select the "optimized" format.

Hi,

Thanks for the quick reply.

The zip format worked, i created a folder of same name as zip file name &
kept the zip file in that.

But i have another source code in .rar format.
1) I uncompressed the .rar format source code.
2) Again i compressed it to .zip format.
3) I created a folder of same name as zip file name & kept the zip file in
that.

But this time when i try to import the source code the tool is giving Not
a QNX source package.

The .rar file contains a file called "source.xml" at the root level.

Kishore.

Will you be able to send me the "invalid" zip file? My email address is "ajin at qnx dot com".
