Auto-Complete useless with 4.7 (6.5.0)   
Auto-complete of our own fonction has become totaly useless.  Can`t even find fonction inside the same file or structure
 member in the same fonction.

What can I do to debug this or figure out if I`m doing something wrong.

Hi, Mario,

This works for me in fairly simple QNX C/C++ projects and managed-make 
C/C++ projects, completing function signatures from included headers and 
from within the same file, even linking to the API documentation.  
Struct members, too.

Do you see any problems in your workspace log file?

Does this same project work in IDE 4.6?

Does this project have indexing enabled?  Which indexer is selected?

I don`t see anything perticular in the log faile. Index is enabled and using Full indexer makes not difference.

I even switch to 4.8  and same thing ( I used the same workspace ). I`m starting to wonder if something is corrupted in 
the workspace. I`ll create a new one.   Will keep you posted

Yep seems to be something "corrupted" with the workspace, because I created a new one, checkout everything from SVN and 
everything is working as expected. Note when I first created the workspace for 4.7 I copy all the files ( except .
metadata) from my 4.6 workspaces and imported everything. Maybe it`s related.

Hi, Mario,

Copying everything but the workspace metadata should be safe.  I 
wouldn't expect that to corrupt anything.

Anyhow, I'm glad your problem is resolved.  Let's both keep an eye out 
for a recurrence, and if it does happen again, perhaps we'll have more 
information with which I can reproduce and fix the problem.

Also, you might want to try next time to copy the entire workspace 
(preserving file timestamps); perhaps retaining the metadata would 
provide a smoother transition.  I know that in my testing of workspace 
upgrade from 4.6.1 to 4.7, simply opening the same workspace in the 
newer IDE presented no problems.

I just copy some target projets from a 4.7 workspace to a 4.8 workspace and imported them from 4.8.  In the process they
 lost their IP setting.
