QNX Momentics IDE Build error (cygwin)   
All of a sudden I cannot build anymore from within the QNX Momentics IDE 4.6 environment. I can see it has to do with 
calls to cygwin executables like mkdir

What follows is an example of an error messages I get:

mkdir -p D:\Projects\Software\WBHD\Embedded/Filesystem/usr/wbhd/lib
      0 [main] us 0 init_cheap: VirtualAlloc pointer is null, Win32 error 487
AllocationBase 0x0, BaseAddress 0x71110000, RegionSize 0x310000, State 0x10000
D:\SYSTEM\PROGRAMS\QNX641\host\win32\x86\usr\bin\mkdir.exe: *** Couldn't reserve space for cygwin's heap, Win32 error 0
make: *** [src] Error 1

Building outside the IDE environment (win32 command line) works OK. Note that building from within the IDE enviroment 
has always worked properly. 

Does anyone has the same experience and a solution ????

Hi Wim,

This looks like a known msys issue. Can you try installing the msys 
update available here:

http://community.qnx.com/sf/frs/do/viewRelease/projects.toolchain/frs.win32_utils.msys_update

I'm running Momentics 4.7 (with msys 1.0.14).  I started having this issue, identical to the OP.  Came across this 
thread, downloaded the 1.0.11 msys dll and put that in, and things started working again.  Does anyone have any insight 
into what the underlying issue is here?  I'd rather not stay running in this mismatched "hacked" configuration.  Why 
does this suddenly start happening?  Mine started after a reboot following a BSOD.

Shown above is the release of Momentics IDE I am using. I am having the exactly same problem in my W10 desktop since an 
update of my W10 on 5/23. If you know the msys DLL archive, please tell me.

Its related to windows configuration not to version of Momentics, same 
workaround applies
