Indeed it is, yet it defaults to $home/$Application_name equivalent while usually windows applications should store
their settings in "$home/Application Data/$Application_name/" and this is where it comes to problems because the
company's IS solution just maintains the known subdirs (like 'Application Data', 'Favourites', etc) and will ignore
others, like 'momentics'. But you already gave the solution:
