I'm restoring my setup and it can't install Mylyn. I get error :
Missing requirement: Mylyn Bridge: C/C++ Development 5.2.0.v20091015-0500-e3x (org.eclipse.cdt.mylyn.feature.group 5.2.0
.v20091015-0500-e3x) requires 'org.eclipse.cdt.platform.feature.group 5.0.0' but it could not be found
I don't know what is wrong because yesterday I was using Mylyn with 4.7, that means I was able to install it at some
point in time... Isn't 4.7 setup with CDT 6.0, could it be related?

What is your IDE 4.7 build ID? From where were your installing Mylyn?
I tried using this build 200908052001 and it worked for me. I added the
Galileo update site "http://download.eclipse.org/releases/galileo" and
installed Mylyn from it.
You have to run IDE using the "-configuration" option (see my previous
post) if you want to install Mylyn to the pre-installed profile.

I try installing if from the Mylyn site. From Galileo it install without error, but there is no Planning Perspective
available although when I go to see the plug-in details the Mylyn stuff is there.
Maybe I should go on a Mylyn forum? But from experience whenever I mention that I`m using a Non-Eclipse distribution I
get the silent treatment.
The log file is basically empty.

Looks like it requires cdt 7.0.1 and we ship cdt 7.0.0 or visa versa. Probably easier to install cdt and the other stuff
you need then update to 4.8 using update site
I don't know if we posted it. Btw we have posted IDE 4.7.2 which is basically 4.7.1 but on new platform/cdt.

Took me a while to find where it was ;-) There is a mac version, surprise there wasn't a big annoncement.

You cannot use mac build now because we did not release mac SDP - this is just for few partners.

Got the Classic, then install subversive, then install tasktop ( which includes mylyn) and the C/C++ integration. So far
so good. Install QNX Momentics 4.7.2.v201011251516 and got the message seen below. For a bunch of reason today is a

OK I think you cannot install the whole Momentics feature because it includes platform, you have to install sub
features... Does it show more than one feature on update site?

And unselected C/C++ if you already installed it. Looks like Mylin require specific CDT version so you have to install
it separately before this.

Copy the link file from your IDE installation (the one you tried to install Mylyn to). It's under the "dropins" folder.
Copy it to your Eclipse "dropins" folder and restart.
