We have a card with a built-in XGI display. I know there is no specific driver but I was hoping to use one of the
generic ones.
When it boots, we get the messages
...(stuff)...
Trying SATA mvSata. Scanning for devices...
xpt_configure: No mvSata interfaces found
dispconf: rename(): No such file or directory
mount: Can't mount / (type io-display)
mount: Possible reason: No such file or dreictory
Starting extra run commands
io-display is not running, unable to continue
login:
Running ph manually also complains about io-display.
From enum-devices -n:
...
dispconf -i 0x18ca,0x0020,0 -d svga -d vesabios
io-display
mount -Tio-display vid=0x18ca,did=0x0020,deviceindex=0
Running those commands manually gives the same errors as above. Adding an entry for the vendor/device to run vesabios
doesn't work either.
From sloginfo:
Mar 07 23:10:30 2 8 200 /etc/system/config/display.conf: No such file or directory
/etc/system/config/display.conf does exist.
I ran dispconf under gdb, the rename that fails is from /etc/system/config/display.conf.$<pid> to /etc/system/config/
display.conf and the source does not exist.
Is there anything I can do to get Photon running?
