Forum Topic - PhAB crashed, where's the core file?: (6 Items)

PhAB crashed, where's the core file?
If PhAB segfaults and indicates in the console that a core dump has occured, where would this file be on a Windows host?
Is there actually a core file generated without dumper to support it?

Thanks
RE: PhAB crashed, where's the core file?
On Windows this core dump is a cygwin traceback file. It is of little
use because the addresses are non-symbolic, and it can't be used by gdb.

Regards,
Max

Ouch - Is there any other way to identify the cause of a crash for PhAB
under Windows?

Thanks

Re: PhAB crashed, where's the core file?
What details are to be included into such a report if all I have is a
console log of the crash which only tells me that a core dump I can't
use has been created. I am hoping for verbosity or debug mode flags so
that if this were to happen again then I might be able to provide more
information.

Thanks

RE: PhAB crashed, where's the core file?
The main thing we need is a detailed procedure on how to reproduce the
problem, i.e. software versions, step by step procedure, plus any
project files, etc.

Regards,
Max
