QNX6 filesystem booting from compact flash
I'm in the process of integrating the QNX6 filesystem on our CF based systems.
I read the section of the fs-qnx6.so page related to device requirements (http://www.qnx.com/developers/docs/6.4.1/
neutrino/utilities/f/fs-qnx6.so.html#Device_properties) but I can't tell if the CF I'm using meet them.
When starting the devb-eide driver, the sync option has to be set to either 'optional' or 'ignore' for the system to
boot. The CF is connected to an on-board socket and is seen as an IDE drive in the BIOS. No USB here.
Attached is sloginfo output right after booting the system.
devb-eide args: devb-eide blk automount=hd0t179:/ qnx6 sync=optional noatime cam quiet &
Are there answers about the device requirements in the sloginfo output?
Is there common knowledge about the QNX6 filesystem on CF?
Thank you
Martin
