Hi,
this is a known problem with PS2-less machines. QNX R&D is running a large number of projects so unfortunately this
issue has only been addressed partly until now. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Is this the actual target hardware you want to use for your project, to deploy QNX Neutrino? If not, you could try
another machine or VmWare.
But if you need to do it on this hardware, a possible workaround would be to connect the hard disk you installed to, to
another machine, boot and edit the rc.local file. There, you do:
slay devi-hid
slay io-hid
sleep 1
io-hid -dusb
devi-hid mouse kbd
then put the HD back into your original machine and try if this resolves the issue. It should boot into Photon and you
should be able to login as 'root' without a password.
Good luck!
- Malte
