Hi,

a customer was starting to implement some kind of aync message passing and then found that we have async message passing
 already built-in. But before proceeding, the question is whether the customer can/could/should use it?

What I know:
- async message passing is experimental
- there was a discussion to remove it

Questions:
- will it be removed, and if so, when?
- should I discourage the customer from using it? 
- what are the issues with it? I remember something about SMP issues...
