Momentics, Kernel event Trace over Wireless
Hello all,
not sure this is the right place to raise this issue but I didn't know where else to post.
I am working with devices running QNX, using Momentics as tool for developing and managing the device files.
I can successfully browse a QNX device using the "Target File System Navigator" tool, or list the running applications
by means of "Target Navigator", over BOTH a wired and wireless connection.
However, if I try to run a "Kernel Event Trace" ("Target Navigator", right click on target device, "Log with ...") it
ONLY works on wired connection, if a try to contact a wireless device I get a "connection refused" error.
I am trying to understand the reason for such behaviour: what's the default port used for "Kernel Event Trace"
connections ? is the 8000 as for other operations (e.g., filesystem browsing) ? If so, why, when on wireless, would let
me visualize the FS but not running the KET ?
Many thanks
