how to run beaglebone black @ 1GHz
Hi QNX,

             beaglebone black, QNX 6.5SP1, bsp-nto650-ti-beaglebone-sp1-trunk-201209071340

I am testing QNX on beaglebone black. As spec declares, "Processor: 1GHz AM3359 Sitara ARM Cortex-A8"

However, "# pidin info" returns as follow,

# pidin info
CPU:ARM Release:6.5.0 FreeMem:93Mb/256Mb BootTime:Feb 01 00:00:00 UTC 2000
Processes: 25, Threads: 84
Processor1: 1094697090 Cortex A8 500MHz FPU

I am wondering how to setup beaglebone black at full speed, i.e., 1GHz.

Please advise, thanks in advance

Mike

This number is simply what startup says, and has no relation to the clock speed of the processor. You need to consult
the SoC documentation to see how you can programmatically determine the current CPU speed, and change it if necessary.
